Cinema Paradiso

Forget DILFs and MILFs: If "Paradise Circus," the first video from Massive Attack’s forthcoming album, Heligoland (out Feb. 9), is any indication, the '10s will be the decade of the G-MILF. The clip, which is definitely rated NSFW, is chock full o’ uncensored footage from the 1972 adult film The Devil in Miss Jones, all of it narrated by…a sweet-looking, 73-year-old woman.

Turns out the woman is "Miss Jones" herself, Georgina Spelvin, who recounts her former life as a porn star (and failed hooker) while facing the camera, Real World-style, as former Mazzy Star chanteuse Hope Sandoval warbles lyrics like "oh well the devil makes us sin/but we like it when we're spinning in his grip" over MA's trip-hoppy beats. Not that you'll even notice them as Spelvin's scandalous onscreen moments play on. (Is that a snake? In the grass!?)

You’d think an elderly provocat-ess flipping through her back pages would gush with high melodrama. But Spelvin’s no Blanche DuBois. She’s frank and unashamed (proud, even), not once calling attention to matters such as lost youth or faded looks. Consequently, she could be a G-MILF or, more appeallingly, a G-MILTHOW (Grand Mother I’d Like To Hang Out With).
