Modern Tonic is put together by a group of friends in the entertainment and media business. We love what we do, and we do what we do because discovering new music, films, tv shows, artists, and websites energizes us. Modern Tonic is an extension of that moment when we find something exceptional and we just have to share it with everyone who will listen. Really, it’s nothing different than what we’ve been doing to our friends for years—emailing links or spreading the word on what’s got our adrenaline going. It’s just that now we’ve got fancier fonts and a place to call home.

That said, none of this is free, so we are supported by the hearts, minds and wallets of our advertisers. Please know though, that none of the editorial on Modern Tonic can be bought in any way. We have an independent editorial board that makes its considerations entirely separate from and unaware of any advertising deals.

Occasionally, we may send an email that has been bought and paid for by an advertiser, usually about something that we would want you to know about. These paid advertisements will be clearly marked as such and we hope you will enjoy these emails as much as the rest of them, especially knowing that they are helping to keep our lights on.
